Hey guys back again! To start I got accepted into Order of Omega and I could not be more honored! I have thrown a bunch of bowls this week for the wood kiln and bowl sale! I bisqued the corsets that ive made and am planning to fire a glaze kiln next week. My colorants came in late this week but with the wood firing coming up the glaze room has been a hot commodity! I am continuing to make extra corsets so that I can make sure I have enough time to fire new ones if the crystalline doesn't come out the way im hoping! I reached out to Ian Childers and he provided me with a lot of good information to help me with my research. I am in the process of making more glaze catchers and in the future I am hoping to streamline my method of making them.

Halloween was this week and man was it a fun year for costumes! My teacher John Cummings dressed up as Yukon Cornelius and pulled it off perfectly. Me and my Fiance Mason dressed up as characters from the Nutcracker and went line dancing!

We also did our pit firing this week! A shovel was broken and we spent some fun time grilling and eating together in my back yard during the firing so all in all we think it went pretty well! We are unloading it on Tuesday so we will see if anything came out of the pit. We cleaned some shelves at the wood kiln and got the space prepared.

All of our pieces have to be out at the kiln tomorrow by 2 so I am spending the rest of the night tonight glazing work and getting everything prepped! I will check back in next week when we are done!
