Post 15 Fall 2024

This week was Thanksgiving break and man do I have so much to be thankful for! I finalized all of the work for my show and installed it in the gallery which opens Monday at 9 am! I am so proud of how this body of work has turned out and truthfully couldnt be happier with the result. Everything I have worked towards over the last 3 years has led to this moment and I am overjoyed with how it has come together. I spent some time with my family this week to celebrate the holidays and enjoy a moment of what life will be like after graduation. I am looking forward to my reception next week and being able to speak to the viewers about the concept of my work. After seeing everything come together I realized just how much of myself I poured into this work and how much more I have to give to it. Stuffing the body forms and putting the finishing touches on the corsets and tutu was the highlight of my week. It really made everything feel like it was finally happening. I love making, and making a bunch of little things that came together into something so grand was an experience like no other.
