Hello lovely people! I did not end up firing a round of corsets this week as my colorants are taking a little longer to come in than expected! I did fire one corset and it came out a bit better than the first one but still not exactly how I expected!

I remade that corset and am working on remaking a few more just in case that happens again down the line. I plan to make some bowls and pieces to put in the wood kiln on the 4th of November and have some to sell at the bowl sale!

I am moving forward with the production of body forms and outfits to set up for my show and almost have all the materials collected. I am still on the hunt for some lamp stands to use for the forms and hope to have them all found soon! I also made a pot this week for a pit firing we are doing in my back yard next week!

I picked my marketing image for my show that will be dispersed by Clemson as advertisement of my show and notice of my graduation from the program! I am really looking forward to seeing how all of my pieces come out of the kiln after they are fired! Next week I plan to make more work for the bowl sale and wood kiln so that I can make the most out of my last semester and take in all the experiences I can before I graduate! I also applied to Order Of Omega which is an honors society for greek life which is comprised of the top 5% of greek life students on campus and I hear the news next week. I also created some ornaments for my mom to take with her to the World Forum on Forest therapy in South Korea which will be handed out to attendees at the event!

I hope to keep progressing forward in a timely manner and I hope the kiln gods keep me in mind when I fire my work!
